Do you think if I banged my head against the wall one more time, that the newbie would order exactly the number of this supply or that supply I politely ask her to order? When I ask her to order three of something, she orders four. When I ask her to order two of something, she orders three. When I ask her to order one of something, she orders two. How in the hell do I get one of something???? Ask her to order NONE?
Although you aren't privy to my latest negotiation with the Universe, I confess that I've sorta pledged to be a little nicer ... about everything. So far, I'm not doing so well. It doesn't amuse me nearly as much to be cheery, as it does to unleash my angst on the world. But, since I've spoken to the Universe about it, I think I owe it to the Big U to at least give "nice" a concerted effort next week. Who knows what may happen if I let all these annoyances roll off me ... they may crush someone else's cheery and we wouldn't want that, now would we?

Maybe if you just tell the newbie that the price of the "extra" one will come out of their pay it will make an impact?

ReplyDeleteHave you asked why she's doing it? Maybe she's trying to make sure you don't run out again? Or that you have one on-hand for next time?

I've tried being nice on several occasions. It didn't work.
