One of my favorite websites for motivation and a laugh. (UPDATED)

https://www.theartofdoingstuff.com/
A Canadian who will make you feel bad in a good way.  Haha ... everyone in the world are likely slackers in comparison to Karen, except for my friend Alice.

I'm currently reading https://www.amazon.com/Outsider-Novel-Stephen-King/dp/1501180983
You can't go wrong with Stephen King, unless he's not for you.

I made a Key Lime Pie for Independence Day.  Well, I really made it because limes and graham crackers were finally on sale at the same time.  Please note I got this recipe from America's Test Kitchen (Cook's Country), but here's a link from someone else who got also it from ATK and proceeded to post it online with ATK's permission https://www.grandparents.com/food-and-leisure/dessert-recipes/recipe-icebox-key-lime-pie-cooks-country  Oh yeah, it looks simple to make.  Go ahead.  I dare you to put some effort into making that pie.   It's dee-li-cious.

If you are swearing off sweets (and other carbs), here is my favorite keto youtube site:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHhMFg6MNHc-VeqRHBghIJA  Wesley is a fellow southerner, and just plain ole' fun to watch.

If you feel like learning a thing or two about what it takes to live outside the everyday box, here is another favorite youtube site:  https://www.youtube.com/user/gonewiththewynns

Is that enough summer entertainment for ya?

  1. Yes, she does have a great sense of humor. I chucked several times. As for Mr. King, I have read many of his books. My daughter, on the other hand, has read everything he has ever written... even his grocery list, if she could get a hold of it.

    1. While I too love Mr. King's work, I cannot claim your daughter's victory. She's a hard core fan.
(Karen's blog -- the art of doing stuff -- is filled with chuckles. Keep reading :)
