Beach days ... can't wait to go back.

This is my sweet friend's tiki hut!

This is my best friend reading the first of seven books she read while we were at the beach.

This is our view from the tiki hut porch.

This is dusk at the beach.

There was a storm brewing.  I love stormy seas and sunny skies.

I also love picket fences and sand dunes.

A boardwalk being buried in the sand.

I liked the patterns the sea oats were leaving in the sand.

I liked the composition of this fencing.

Who doesn't love a ready basket of beach neccessities?

I gave these tiki men to my friend cuz she collects them.  My only regret is that I didn't buy a set for me.

This little guy hangs out on the bathroom wall in the tiki hut.

This mini bar under the stairs reminds me of Ernest Hemingway and Jimmy Buffett.  Go figure.

  1. P.S. For those of you who have never been to The Gulf of Mexico, that's where these pictures were taken. It is a beautiful and much beloved destination. We remain hopeful that BP will get their oil spill capped before we lose all we hold dear for longer than we would like to bear.
