Horticulture, environmental geoscience or law? Hmmmmmm .... the quest for direction goes on. I keep asking, but I have yet to hear that still calm voice I will defer to.
Is super sizing your bathroom really necessary? Really? No, really? How's that indentured servitude to your super sized bathroom going?

Well, if you spend a lot of time in the bathroom (say, taking long hot baths, not neccessarily sitting on, or throwing up into, the parcelan throne), the room should be "comfy" and as big as it needs to be to "comfy".
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck is environmental geoscience?
And no answers here - the answer lies within you - is it a matter of "too many" options that you would be good at? Or are you trying to please someone other than yourself with what "you do"?
I know an engineer who got a Ph.D in Computer Speach Systems and would be happier driving a long-haul truck route... He was trying to please his father... and not himself.
@ IG -- My first love is a hot bath, so I am all about having a place to take one. And, if I were desperate enough, I would take a hot bath out in the yard if I had hot water and a BIG ole palm leaf to hide me. I like creature comfort as well as anyone else, but I'm anti being house poor. I don't begrudge a tricked out bathroom to anyone who can "truly" afford it, if it's important to their happy factor. I've just been noticing on HGTV, that certain things in people's home which used to seem like luxuries have become "standards" in our culture, even though many people clearly can't afford the new "standard" they think they must have. I just scratch my head at people who would sell themselves into servitude to things like a king sized bathroom.
ReplyDeleteAs for the possible educational choices, the first two are on the table out of pure interest. The third, law, is something I'm already in, familiar with and likely a natural at if I could harness my hell raising tendancies into a productive tool.
I do hear ya about the "educational" misstep though. I know more than a few lawyers who realized they made a mistake and chose to bail. I'm just bored and ready for a change or a challenge. And, I love to learn, so I figured I would put my energy back into school and be happy with that for what it is -- personal growth. As for seeking direction, I am torn about which way to next go, so I am hoping God will illuminate the way.
