I finished reading "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin and three light read books by a southern author. I am now reading "Fearless" by Max Lucado. I haven't read further than the introduction, but I already love the cover! Book covers are a newly discovered passion of mine. I love how they seem to be holding hands with the title. To think, they never caught my attention or smacked me in my imagination until recently! If you are feeling even slightly creative, think of a visual that would correlate to the title "Fearless."

Read City of Theives by David Brenioff or something close to that. One of my fave books of all time which is amazing for a recently published book. I have recommended it to many people and all have enjoyed it too.
ReplyDeleteI'm still working on that happiness project's "read Aristole and generally have more fun" bit. Do you think they meant have actual fun reading Aristole?
ReplyDelete"Η ευτυχία είναι η έννοια και ο σκοπός της ζωής, ολόκληρων του στόχου και του τέλους της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης»"
:)
P.s., I love that redheaded guy diving off the dock on Fearless...
@Wow man -- Thanks for the recommendation my friend. I will put it on my reading list!
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" I think it would be "for you"... I was writing my comment to recommend this book when my mind went complete blank except for greek mathematic formulas...
ReplyDelete@IG -- Hah hah! I think perhaps they do. I actually enjoy reading Aristotle from time to time .... thank God for translators!
ReplyDeleteLook at you go ... Quick Draw Mcgraw! You aren't only quick, you are very very observant! I was doing well enough having simply taken note of the cover, let alone that the kid had red hair ... hah hah. I really need to work on being more "mindful" (and observant) which is another happiness project tip.
@IG -- That's a slightly long title for a book. Just my mindful yet meaningless observation. I will add that one to my reading list also. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have this fearless book, and it's great.
ReplyDelete@ Jay -- thanks for letting me know! That's cool that we will have a read in common.
