Happy DST Sunday!

Here is a backyard bouquet ...

From me

To you!

Yeah, yeah, I know I look tired, you don't have to tell me.  I woke up at 4:00 a.m., and was worn out before I even started my day.  The older I get, the less my face abides my night owl tenancies, and my sometimes early to rise surprise.  The flowers are Camellias which grow and are now in full bloom in my backyard.  I take no credit for growing them.  I only accept credit for cutting them and bringing them inside.  They grow themselves, and they do such a good job, why should I hinder them by putting in my two cents worth of knowledge.  I am about to attempt to post pics of my landscape before and after.  Wish me luck.

P.S., This is my "new haircut" which I DETESTED and was very annoyed over, until it grew out about an inch.  After it grew a little, I got used to it and liked it more.  I know it looks better than my longer style, but it was such a shock to my sensibities at first.  Did I mention, I hate change?  Yeah, yeah, start telling me how good change can be.

  1. This is the first time I've seen a picture of you! You're pretty! I like your hair, but you know what else I like too? The bookcase behind you. That reminds me of home!!!

  2. I know you think I just threw up in my mouth, but I didn't. On the contrary, I think you are quiet lovely - hot even. Wait...let me get my glasses...hummmm...there they are...hummm...yep...even more pretty in the clear. Marry me? Any woman who eats at the Waffle House is marrying material to me.

  3. @Nikki- Awww shucks thanks for liking my bookcase, I have more than one, imagine that! I love books, books and more books. Thanks also for the compliment (blush). You can see my long hair shots if you just click on one of the two links in my "about me" box.

@Coffeypot -- Pshaw, go on with your mock "proposal." Your lovely wife wouldn't take kindly to me accepting that. However, it would just be rude for me to reject your charitable compliments, so I thank you sweetly for those.

  4. Okay, I was just kinda passing by doing a little blog surfing and I thought I'd say "hi" under the lurker's comments. Don't worry, there are no spells. Nice new haircut, btw!

  5. @Poetic Painter ... all hellos are welcome here -- minus spells, cooties and the like of course. Thanks for liking the haircut :) Everyone did from the start, except for me. It had to grow on me. Uh yep, there's an unintended pun. I will now come surf your blog.

  6. You are as pretty as the flowers...

I wouldn't have noticed you were tired until you said so.
