Oh for boredom's sake ...

Where is all the excitement hiding?  I'm ready for some sort of an adventure.  I just don't know what kind of adventure I would find the most satisfying.

Perhaps not the most adventurous, but definitely the most dangerous thing I have done lately is to walk from my house to the downtown library.  That may not seem very dangerous to you, but one can run into some sketchy characters between my house and our downtown library.  Hell, you can meet some sketchy characters IN the downtown library.  I was willing to risk the level 1 danger, because I believe those sketchy characters are just like everyone else, just a little less well groomed.  I was greeted by a few sketchy characters as I walked to and from downtown, but none accosted me, showing that my "most people are good" belief has some merit.

Do you have any adventures planned or any adventurous ideas in mind?

  2. Does buying a used computer server and installing Windows Server 2008 R2 on it count as an adventure? :)

Umm... I'm still searching the family tree, I've found saps and nuts... and some foliage...

    Gosh, I'm dull.

  3. It's not the clothes on their body, but the thoughts in their head that makes them dangerous. They are not like everybody else.

  4. I am so glad to see that you are back! The first springtime day, we should pack a picnic and head to the little Grand Canyon and hike our hearts out. An adventure just waiting on waiting on warmer temperatures.

  5. @Furry Bottoms -- Me too! I want to zip line through the trees. If we lived nearer to one another, we could go together.

@Iggy -- Ha ha ... you are a forester and didn't know it.

@Jay -- Isn't it a little too cold to go catfishing?

@CP -- Sometimes thats very true. Thankfully the ones I met along the way were nothing but southernly social.

@Alice -- I sooooooo wanted to hike on Sunday. It was a perfect day for hiking, that's why I braved the urban trek. I just couldn't bear to let a whole day of glorious sunshine go to waste without being outside. Now, I will impatiently wait for Spring ;)
