Peek A Boo ...

Yep, it's me ... here to take a peek at my own empty box.  I've been uninspired lately, and my favorite place to blog is now off limits.  But, I'm going to try to get back in my blogging and reading blog groove.  I hope all of you have been well.  Thanks for missing me Alice.  I miss you too.

Here's what I've been thinking about lately:    My instincts.  .
My instincts don't scream quite as loud as that big font implies.  However, I know for a fact, that my instincts have been talking to me lately.  And yes, I know the difference between my own universal built in nudge and THE UNIVERSE at large.  I'm just here to remind you to not only hear the nudge, but to always pay attention to it, and do what it tells you to do, or not to do, IMMEDIATELY.  Don't wait around to take out the trash, finish your term paper or even blow out your birthday candles.  Stop whatever you are doing in that moment, and listen to the nudge.  More often than not, it's a nudge to some small action, but failure to follow its subtle hints, can lead to some less than desirable consequences.

I don't have time right this moment to write about my recent instinct stories, but I would love to hear if your instinct has been talking to you lately.  I'm completely curious as to how many situations instinct tries to help us or even save us from.

I'm off to the movies in a few minutes, off to see the movie "Unknown," with a friend of mine.  But first, I have to go over and check on my cyber friend in New Zealand.  I just saw on the internet that New Zealand suffered an earthquake recently.  Not sure how recently, since I haven't had much computer time lately.

After you have shared your instinct story with me (if you have one), go check out my New Zealand friend's blog ... google her at "Leaf Probably."  I'm almost certain she blogs on Wordpress, but don't hold me to that fact.

  1. That quiet little voice whispers in my ear way more than I listen. Just today, we had 2 ladies knock on the door and want to come in. Jay told them we were closed. That voice told me to go out and talk to them. Turns out, one of them owned a store that we needed a favor from and 20 minutes later....done! If only we would be quiet enough to hear when it calls! SOOOO glad you came back, dear friend!

  2. I miss the annoyances. As for instinct I find for me they only really come into when dealing with people, and I live, work, and cook alone. Also when driving, I always have a sixth sense when a police officer is going come around the bend.

  4. What you call "instinct" I call the little voice in my head that is very, very quiet.

When I pay attention to it - it really pays off...but most of the time I just get this "unsettled feeling that comes from a place I can't quite put my finger on."
