Me, "I feel."

Blank page, "So. Who doesn't?"

Me, "I'm distressed."

Blank page, "So. What's the big deal?"

Me, "I'm worried."

Blank page, "So. Lots of people worry."

Me, "You're mean."

Blank page, "So. What's your point?"

Me, "That you're mean."

Blank page, "So. You made me this way."

Me, "Oh yeah, hmmm."

Blank page, "You're weird today."

Me, "So. Lots of people are weird today."

Blank page, "Fine, go ahead, tell me what's bugging you."

Me, "I keep losing people!"

Blank page, "What? How can you lose people? They are so big and noisy. I don't get how you can lose people."

Me, "Me either, but I do."

Blank page, "How bout this? I bet other people have also lost some of their people, and if you don't find your lost people, you may find some of their lost people."

Me, "You think so?"

Blank page, "I know so."

Me, "Okay."

Blank page, "Can I go now?"

Me, "I guess so. But, don't get out of earshot."
