UGGGGH

Hi blank page,

I'm dragging tookus today. Last night, after the mouse chase and another blood curdling stressor, my adrenaline system insisted that it wasn't ready for sleep anytime soon. There would be no rest for the weary until after "4:00 a.m." which turned out to be "3:00 a.m." because of the world's insistence on returning back to "normal" time. So, the adrenaline system and I stayed up and watched a Frontline production called "Close to Home" regarding the state of the U.S. economy. Can I tell you how interesting yet worrisome that documentary is? Very! If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. After I finally fell asleep, keeping one eye open for encroaching mouse, I awoke at what I thought was 8:30 a.m. although it was really 7:30 a.m. It took me a while to remember that yesterday was the last day for my beloved Daylight Savings Time until next year. Oh the woe of sunshine opportunities which will be lost after a day of indoor work. No one seems to care about my personal preferences.

Back to the mouse stalking. He (or she, who knows these days with the hair styles?) may be stalking me, but rest assured, I am set and ready for mouse to come out from wherever he is and sample the snack I left for him on a special wooden rectangular plate. Not quite like cookies for Santa, but Santa didn't try to move in and eat me out of house and home.
