Yes Man!

I am currently reading Danny Wallace's account of his real life experience in committing to say YES for a period of six months. I enjoyed the movie which was loosely based on this book, and I'm enjoying the book on its own merits. Danny Wallace is British. Having recently experienced London's Tube system, having wearily trod through many of its lanes, having taken photos of site after site, having taken delightful strolls through many a park and neighborhood, and having nearly been mowed down in London traffic (my own American fault), I am now able to picture Danny Wallace going from place to place in his book. That's pretty cool.

I thought I would share a couple of my favorite London PUB photos with you. These pub photos were taken during the week, midday (lunch hour). If I were a beer drinker, I would LOVE this lunch hour custom! I have to admit that the pub lunch crowd was somewhat of a novelty to me. But, I have lived in the bible belt of the U. S. all my life, so I have a poor excuse for standing there with my mouth open in surprise and snapping away like the paparazzi. (Smile!)

A pub lunch now means standing in the curb...
