A postscript to the Monday post.
Oh yeah, my XXB, called and asked me out on a date for this coming weekend. A real date, not a let's just hang out sorta thing. I told him I would think about it. Do I really want to go backwards? I care for him and value him as a friend, and do hang out with him now and then, but I'm not sure how I feel about a date. I care, but he's another one who holds no long term prospect interest for me, and I don't want to mislead him.

Call him back and tell him you would be happy to go as long as he understood that there was NO going back...? Depends on how badly you'd like to go to this thing this weekend?
ReplyDelete@Auntie -- ummm, not badly, not badly at all. I have other options, but I do enjoy his company. He's very sweet and he does makes me laugh. He's always playfully ego pimpin' himself on facebook and in real life. The boy is a trip -- and since he is 9 years younger than me, I can call him a boy if I wanna and do.
