Annoyance 018

My neighbor's kid got a drum set for Christmas. Enough said?

  1. We got my little girl a guitar and a drum kit last year and a piano and steel drum the year before. She will be 4 in March and loves all things musical. Screw the neighbours (sorry - I love music and noise too x)

  2. Good for your little one that you are such a great parent. And for my neighbor's 17 year old kid too I guess. So what, if our 80 year old houses are only 12 feet apart and his drum set is the same size as that of a marching bands. I'm fine, really, who needs to hear their television in their own house? LOL

  3. Oh no, 17 year olds can go to a studio. Screw them! 3 year olds sleep at the right time and seldom play for more than 30 mins a day. I can live with that. Besides, I took perverse pleasure in upsetting my neighbours as they are quite antisocial and use the hairdryer and hoover for prolonged periods of time at ungodly hours.

  4. You are wickedly funny Jasmine! My thoughts exactly on the studio time! His father should rent his son studio time as a present to ME ... his most hello waving, wonderful, helpful, kind, socially pleasant and considerate neighbor! I do like most all of my neighbors and even love some of them. I am very tolerant of the teenagers turned twenty somethings across the street who rock the street from time to time, and I will be considerate of the lastest addition to the block, but I really really really do wish his 17 year old had an earlier bedtime :)
