Those who lost their lives or who lost their loved ones on September 11, 2001, will never be forgotten. We, as a whole, may not know them by their respective names, but we loved them just the same, as our fellow country men and women. Remember to be good to those around you -- family, friends, neighbors and strangers alike. One day, those people (including you and I) will not be here for us to treat them as well as they should be treated, even if they try our patience, get on our last nerve, cut us off in traffic, skip us in line and push every button that drives us crazy. Life is short enough, without being cut short. I am preaching to myself dear readers, not to you. To you, I only want to leave a gentle reminder to look around you and savor those you love, and those you could love, and those who don't seem to deserve love, but who need it the most. To me, I PREACH. I want to be a better person, who is ever mindful of those around me and beyond me. I want to respect your religion (or your practice of none), your spirituality, your soul, your nature, your feelings, your values and your needs. We are all humans in this together, and I pledge to treat you all just as I would want you to treat me -- with patience, tolerance, compassion, understanding, consideration and most of all respect for our differences, not just our likeness.
Dear fellow humans, I appreciate you, and I am happy that you are here sharing the planet with me. I hope to do better by you in the day to day moments when life is grinding civility into dust. I hope to water my spirit with your laughter and happiness. I hope to comfort you in your sadness. I stand with you today, while we remember those who are no longer present to share life with us here on earth. Let us be earthly angels, so that we might brush our shoulders against the wings of our heavenly angels.
We loved you, even if we did not personally know you, and you are missed.
May God hold you all in the palm of his hand.

I will never forget them or that day. But what I do have a problem with is, there are billions of dollars in rebuilding arond Ground Zero as well as new, tall buildings all over NY, but there is no National Monument to those to gave their all that day. I think this is sad. And yet the fucking Muslims want to put a Mosque there. Sad!
