If you are back reading on my blogs you missed almost all of this post, because I have edited almost all of this post. Only the smallest of pieces remain to remind me of the event, but most is now gone because of an anonymous and non trustworthy snoopy reader.
If he keeps on with those sort of shenanigans come Monday, I SHALL call him out for a duel. I SHALL stand as boldy before him as Ignio Montoya in the Princess Bride, sword drawn! Hmmm ... I better get busy shopping for a sword.
Alrighty then, it should now be Saturday -- when this post pops up for you to read. I wrote it yesterday, but delayed its wrath, because yesterday was SOLELY reserved for BIRTHDAY LOVE! And, since it is Saturday, that means I enjoyed a lovely evening with my best friend last night, just tooling around, chatting and having dinner. Today, I plan to hang out with my mother, either yard sale-ing (sailing would be more like it -- I'm a fast looker) or looking for a rug to go with her new living room funiture. Sunday, its a road trip to a neighboring state. Overall, I have decompressed since the work day, and Mr. Blue Bird is once again sitting on my shoulder.
Happy Saturday my little darlings!

You and I might make excellent shopping partners. I am a quick looker too!
ReplyDeleteIm sorry you had a bad week :( seems to be going on all over. But I do have to say... I am impressed with your constraint. Most people wouldn't be able to put aside their anger for birthday love. Whats the trick?!
@Nikki -- Quick looking is my speciality. It may be why I miss the small but good stuff that my friend J always finds ;) Thanks for the work condolences. It really has been a stressful work week. Stress is something I should be used to by now, but his work habits rub mine the wrong way, and that never gets any easier, because neither of us ever changes. Except, I've become a lot less tolerant as the years have rolled by.
ReplyDeleteI think Nikki and I best be very careful once you learn the ancient art of Voodoo and start making dolls...
ReplyDelete:)
@Iggy ... uh some people should be "shakin" in their boots already, but NIKKI and YOU have nothing to worry about. I promise to reserve my Voodoo for one anonymous reader and one overly irritating man!
