Everyday humanity without its sugar coat.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

uH oh.  I think I may be nearing testy time.  I'm having slightly evil thoughts.  Not the evil kind of thoughts which say, "Go ahead, push him off the curb into oncoming traffic, you know you want to."

No NO, I NEVER have those evil kind of thoughts.  I never think to myself, "I knew I should have blown that blasted cult from here to kingdom come.  Smithereens would've been just about the right size!"

No, no that's not me.    I would never think something like that.

Okay fine, I might have thought that last one, but who doesn't feel vengeful every other decade or so?  The point to remember is that I have NEVER acted on any fleeting vengeful thought.

Besides, I'm only having slightly evil thoughts.  The kind of thoughts which repeatedly say throughout the day, "I know he didn't just say that.  Who says stuff like that?"  "OMG, is he talking again?  Seriously, just ignore him."

I have succeeded in remaining silent ... but my irritable thoughts have caused me to wonder what everyone else is thinking at any given time.  You never know, when someone is thinking to themselves, "Hmmm, I wonder if she can swim."

Have you had one less than charitable thought today?

How about yesterday?

No?  Can I touch the hem of your robe?

  1. I'm feeling the testiness coming over me too! "OMG, here we go again!" is the recurrenting theme in my brain the past couple days.

  2. Revenge is good. It relieves tension and stress...especially if the body is hid where it will never be found.

  3. If you ever had the misfortune to meet my sister-in-laws you would know I often have less than "charitable" thoughts. :)

    "Is the road icey enough for her to drive home on...?"

    "Why can't one order some food poison on-line?"

    "I'm so glad everyone is unique... they definately needed to break the mold they made her from..."

    and so on... those are the "nice ones".
