Snip snip ...

I slunk back into the good graces of my former hair stylist today.  Her name is Jodi.  Jodi was happy to see me despite my having gone MIA for the past three years.  I wanted to explain why.  She said there was no need to explain, and that she was just glad to see me again and gave me a hug.

Jodi is totally awesome, and I never doubted that she was totally awesome, and insisted on explaining why I have been MIA, and why I am coming back on bended knee begging for forgiveness and understanding and her great service.  There was no drama involved.  I just don't like getting my hair cut EVER, so I don't go for a cut every six weeks like normal people do, or every eight weeks, and probably not even every twelve weeks.  I go when I can't stand my hair anymore, and when that happens, I am ready to have my hair cut within two days.  When I have reached the point of self disgust, I try to book an appointment with Jodi, but she is always, and I mean always booked anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks out.  So, I started going to another stylist.  A stylist who sporadically pleased me, and sporadically made me want to box her ears.  I think I posted a really mad annoyance blog about her once upon a time (the last time I got my hair cut -- wonder how long that has been).  My last time with that non consistent stylist, led me to wait patiently for Jodi to have an availability.

And, I'm soooooooo glad I did.  I love my new haircut.  I feel so edgy ... in a good way ;)

  3. ...one advantage to being bald is not having to concern oneself with the hair stylist..
